Non-Ferrous Metals Export Logistics
Metals are heavy cargo and heavy capital. We move them — and help you unlock the value tied up in transit and in the warehouse.
Where this industry usually gets hurt
Serving manufacturers across Xuzhou, these are the problems we see most often.
Capital tied up in high value
A single container of copper cathode can be worth millions. The cycle from purchase to payment collection concentrates cash pressure on smaller traders.
Weight-limited loading
Ingots are dense: a 20GP hits the weight cap around 20 tonnes with container volume left unused, pushing up unit cost.
Supervision standards are strict
Pledged inventory needs a qualified third-party warehouse. An ordinary warehouse cannot issue a supervision report the bank will accept.
Price moves during transit
LME copper moves while cargo is on the water, and that exposure needs hedging.
How we solve it
From planning to execution — each item answers one of the problems above.
Supply chain finance
Pledge cargo in transit or in the warehouse to release working capital. Quota and funding timelines are set by the partner financial institution based on cargo value and credit assessment.
Bank-recognised supervised warehouse
Partner warehouses hold the qualifications banks require and issue standard supervision reports that support pledge financing.
Loading optimisation
Loading plans built around metal density, balancing heavy and volumetric cargo to reduce freight per unit.
Full-value insurance
All-risk cover for high-value cargo including theft, rain damage and transit accidents.
Price risk management
Access to hedging advisory to help manage price exposure over the transit window.
Transport modes that fit
Packing & loading notes
Ingot bundles strapped with steel banding on reinforced bottom dunnage; anti-slip matting on the container floor; GPS and seal monitoring recommended for high value; desiccants for moisture control.

Frequently asked questions
Can non-ferrous metals be pledged for financing?
Yes. Once cargo is in a partner supervised warehouse, financing can be applied for against the warehouse warrant. The facility limit and funding timeline are determined by the partner financial institution based on cargo value and credit assessment; we handle the warrant, supervision and document flow.
How much electrolytic copper fits a 20GP?
Road weight limits usually cap a 20GP at 18–20 tonnes in practice (the sea limit is around 21.5 tonnes, but destination inland limits also apply).
Is an export licence required?
Some metals such as rare earths, tungsten and antimony require an export licence. Copper, aluminium, lead and zinc in ordinary trade generally do not, but the HS code must be declared accurately.
How do I manage price volatility?
Hedging can lock in price, and shortening the transit window reduces exposure time. We can connect you with hedging advisory.
