Where this industry usually gets hurt

Serving manufacturers across Xuzhou, these are the problems we see most often.

High breakage rate

Glass breaks during handling and in heavy seas. When it does, the loss usually lands on the shipper.

Heavy cargo costs more

Glass is dense and billed on weight. Heavy cargo also constrains container loading and cannot be mixed with volumetric cargo.

Claims are hard to win

Standard cargo policies exclude fragile goods or carry high deductibles, and proving the claim is slow and difficult.

Crushing under stacking

Poor stacking in warehousing and transhipment deforms bottom cartons and the contents break.

How we solve it

From planning to execution — each item answers one of the problems above.

Five-ply cartons with dividers

Five-ply corrugated cartons with EPE foam dividers and individually sleeved bottles, drop-tested to 1.2m.

Palletised and wrapped

Whole-pallet stretch wrap, corner boards and strapping reduce handling touches and the human error that comes with them.

Fragile-specific insurance

Access to cargo cover that includes breakage, with a low deductible and simplified claim documentation.

Careful-handling standard

Cartons marked fragile and handled accordingly; forklifts fitted with padded clamps to prevent rough handling.

Photo record at loading

The entire loading process is photographed and filmed and kept on file as evidence if a claim arises.

Frequently asked questions

Is breakage covered if bottles arrive damaged?

Yes, once fragile-specific cover is in place. We photograph and film the entire loading process as the basis for determining liability. Claims typically settle in 15–30 days.

How much glass fits in a 20GP?

Weight is the constraint: a 20GP usually loads 18–22 tonnes against a payload limit of about 21.5 tonnes, so leave margin. Enter your specifications for an online estimate and loading advice.

Can I consolidate glass with other cargo?

Not recommended. Glass is both heavy and fragile; mixing it with volumetric or heavy cargo raises breakage risk. Ship FCL, or LCL with the same product category only.

What is required for food-grade glass?

A food contact material safety declaration is required. The US needs FDA compliance and the EU needs conformity with framework regulation EC 1935/2004.
